Looking for fun and engaging math craft activities for the months of March and April or for your Spring and Easter Celebrations? This Easter Peep Candy Basket Craftivity is just what you are looking for!

Students will color and cut out their Easter basket. They will build their own 2-digit or 3 digit numbers on the math mat by rolling a dice (or provide each student a number on a sticky note). Once they have correctly shown the number in standard form, place value form, expanded form, and base ten form on their mats they will transfer their answers onto the craft template. They will write the number in four different ways on the peeps, then glue them onto the basket. Simple, cute, no prep, Easter peep math craft that would make an adorable bulletin board display! This resource would make an excellent Fun Friday activity, fast finisher activity, math center, sub plans, or simple review of telling time!!
