This Easter 8th Grade Math Activity Function or Not a Function Coloring Worksheet will motivate your students as they identify functions from mapping diagrams, graphs, and more. With 2 differentiated versions included, you can select just what your students need to help them master the Function or Not a Function concept while they look forward to coloring the Easter egg coloring page.
Differentiated Worksheet Option #1 (Less challenging)
Students classify each of the 10 relations as one of the following two options:
- Function
- Not a Function
Differentiated Worksheet Option #2 (More challenging)
Students classify each of the 10 relations as one of the following three options:
- Linear Function
- Nonlinear Function
- Not a Function
2 of each of the following 5 types of representations are included:
- Mapping Diagrams
- Ordered Pairs
- Tables
- Graphs
- Equations
Students complete the color by number activity by using their answers as they classify the relations to color one of the seasonal/holiday coloring sheets:
- SPRING: image of an umbrella in the rain with the phrase "Rain or Shine, It's Springtime"
- EASTER: image of a chocolate Easter egg with the phrase "Eggcellent Effort"
An answer key is included for the worksheets and the coloring sheet.
