Description
Looking for fun and engaging math craft activities to practice addition and subtraction through 10, make a ten strategy, and increase math fluency for the Spring months? This Easter Basket Make a Ten craft is just what you are looking for!
Students will color and cut out their Easter Basket (Two templates to choose from). They will solve the missing addend or subtraction through 10 problems on the eggs (9 problems per student on a half sheet of paper per student), then glue the eggs onto the basket. Simple, cute, no prep, and an adorable bulletin board display! You will also receive a number bond mat (with and without 10 as the whole number), as well as a ten frame mat for both addition and subtraction. These work great to place in plastic sleeves and use with dry erase markers, or manipulatives for students to solve the equations. A set of cards is included (numbers 1-10) that you can use with the math mats as a math center or in small groups by creating new equations over and over again. This resource would make an excellent Fun Friday activity, fast finisher activity, math center, or simple review of missing addends and addition through ten.
