Description
Goals:
Introduce or review the four 2D shapes, circle, square, triangle, rectangle.
Practice fine motor skills, cutting, gluing, and body awareness.
Project:
There are 4 complete Bunny bodies and 4 Bunny heads.
One bunny body and head in black and white.
One chocolate bunny body and head with brown, blue and pinks.
One white bunny body and head in white, blue and a touch of pink.
One pink bunny body and head with blue and a touch of dark pink.
The bodies and the heads will fit on 8 ½ by 11 paper.
There are Keys for all bunny bodies and heads.
You will need to decide which project to do and the type of paper to run it on. The rabbit can be made as a stand alone, but that is better printed on heavy paper. He can also be made by gluing the pieces down on another piece of paper. Maybe add wiggly eyes for extra cuteness!
Assembly:
Decide if posting the picture of the finished Easter Bunny Key so the children may use it for reference. It is a good idea to give each child a baggie to hold their cut pieces until they have glued them all. Collect bags to reuse another day.
When doing the black and white bunny, children can color them when finished.
This activity can also be in a center, if the pieces are laminated.
