Description
In this activity, children carefully observe a small pattern card and recreate the same arrangement of Easter eggs on their own grid. This playful game helps develop visual perception, spatial awareness, and concentration while working with colorful Easter egg patterns.
How the game works:
Each child receives a worksheet with a 3 × 3 grid (nine squares) and a small example card showing a pattern of Easter eggs placed in some of the squares.
The task is to recreate the same pattern on the large grid by placing the eggs in the correct positions.
For example, if the pink egg is shown in the top middle square on the example card, the child places the pink egg in the same position on their grid.
For the eggs:
• Cut out the paper eggs included in the activity
• Use small toy eggs or wooden eggs for a hands-on version of the game
What’s included:
• Easter-themed grid game boards
• Pattern example cards
• Printable eggs for cutting and placing
• Soft pastel design suitable for young learners
This activity is language-free, making it perfect for international classrooms.
Great for:
• Kindergarten and preschool learners
• Math or learning centers
• Visual perception practice
• Independent work or small groups
• Spring or Easter classroom activities
