Description

Are you looking for a fun Easter-themed activity to review integers? With this craft, students complete integer equations, then color, cut, and create a 3D Easter egg craft.

With this craft, students complete the integer equations on four Easter eggs, color and cut them out, then glue them together to make a 3D Easter egg craft.

There are four eggs for each skill – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The eggs come in two sizes, depending on your needs.

With the large size, students can make an egg which is all addition practice, or multiplication practice, or they could choose any combination of eggs to practice different skills. The pages can be cut across the middle if you’d like students to mix and match. If you want to hang these, simply add a piece of string in between two layers before gluing, or tape string on after it’s complete.

The small eggs are great for making a “trophy” collection of eggs that students will enjoy displaying on their table as they complete each one.

For differentiation, there is a set using 1-digit numbers and a set using 2-digit numbers.

Early finishers can add more of their own equations where there is space on the eggs.

What's included?

  • 1 digit and 2 digit versions
  • 4 eggs for each operation (each operation has a different egg design)
  • Answer keys
  • Two sizes
  • Visual step-by-step instructions

Ideas for use:

  • whole class
  • stations
  • math center
  • free time
  • early finishers

I hope your students enjoy making this craft for Easter.
