Provided in this set is 12 Easter Themed task cards that deal with addition. Each math story problem is different allowing the students to solve simple addition word problems using the skill of counting to add on. It is a fun and engaging way to have students solve these problems. None of these problems involve money.
Use these 12 response cards to help your students with word problem scenarios to relate counting to addition (CCSS 1.OA.C.5). Depending on your learners, these task cards can be used for many areas of teaching and work well during whole group instruction, math centers, stations, or for partner work. I personally love using this with my whole class as a SCOOT type activity.

A student answer sheet is included along with an answer key for self-checking or teacher use.
