Students learn how different countries celebrate Easter! Did you know that in England they have pancake races? In Bermuda they fly kites. In Bulgaria they throw eggs at each other!
This Easter Activity Packet provides fun reading comprehension, oral reading practice, and writing activities which all coordinate with a readers theater script. Students will practice skills and be entertained as they learn about this holiday.
This packet contains a 2-page readers theater script along with 5 script-related activity sheets, each with its own answer key:
* Fill-In the Blanks
* Vocabulary Fun
* Unscramble
* Word Search
* 5-Question Quiz
This is a great way for students to increase reading and writing skills. It also encourages oral reading proficiency in a fun way! The script provides lines in a variety of lengths, so teachers can give a short line to very shy students to encourage participation, as well as offer longer parts for more proficient or eager-to-read-aloud readers. There's no better way to engage all students while the teacher assesses reading skills. Everyone reads and no discipline problems go on in the background!
