Description
This Microsoft Word Template can be used in a lesson integrating Maths and ICT. Students insert the correct shapes from the tool bar. They then type how many sides and angles each shape has. I also allow my students to play with the format of their shapes. They then create a picture or design using different polygons.
To add their name to the header, students double click on the header. To then return to the body of the page, they double click on the body.
If you would like to change Trapezium to trapezoid, or rhombus to diamond, simply change them on the document and then save as a document template.
This task aligns with the Australian Curriculum for Year 2 as follows:
Describe and draw two-dimensional shapes, with and without digital technologies (ACMMG042)
An easy freebie comes with "no frills". It is what it is and you can download it for free. Enjoy!
