Please note, proportions are only meant to provide young artists with a basic understanding of the placement of facial features. This is in no way an exact science. Encourage your young artists to extend beyond this guide and utilize direct observation in their drawings.

This is an extremely great resource. I used all of Paula Liz's resources as well as some others to create packets for each table group to use in my art class. The students were able to look at the packets to help make their self portraits unique. I plan to use these with all of my students when teaching self portraits!
