Description

They can watch a video. They can listen to a teacher talk. Or they can own and create their own notes. This is an effective way to get your students to truly interact with the lesson. Interactive notetaking has been a go to strategy for student learning for many years. These can be used for their own unit notes, they are great for open note/open book quizzes. I give an open note quiz but do not allow them for the unit test.

Just use a document camera, place a chosen student to do it under the camera while the others are working the same thing at the same time.

This works!
