Description
Engage your students in a quick easy game while practicing changes in population in an ecosystem. Easy prep, print, laminate and play. Students will have discussions on whether a population will increase or decrease when given a scenario.
2 games: one as an energy pyramid other as a food chain, both different ecosystems
Our students enjoyed this activity and got tons of fun practice with changing populations in ecosystems.
How to play: Students spin the spinner to see which animal in the food chain is effected, they then roll the dice to see if that animal's population increases or decreases. Students then complete the pyramid for the immediate effect on the other animals.
Earn points by finding a mistake on your partner’s answer (keeps both partners attentive during play) or if most of the arrows are increase.
Gameboard: 2 different gameboards
This is a fun quick game that can be played often. Students are reviewing changes in population in different ecosystems. This is a great game to play as you have a few minutes left in class or as a warm-up before class starts.
Laminate the game boards or put in plastic sleeves, students use dry-erase markers it can be played again and again.
