Keywords for different arithmetic symbols ( +, - , x, ÷)

  • two slides containing different keywords that can be printed as a poster.

How I use these slides:

When I'm explaining a problem solving strategy, I show this slide and my students read aloud what this strategy entails. Then, I show them the word problem and give them a specific time to try and solve it. Next, we take it up and discuss our successes and our challenges.
