Description

The Class Checklist is my absolute favorite classroom management tool that I use in my classroom. I found it to be so helpful that I use a Class Checklist on a daily basis. It's so simple to create and makes classroom organization sparkle.

First, type your assignment information (if desired) and class roster into the editable form. It will automatically fill in both sides for you so they are identical. For directions on how to fill in an interactive form click here Directions on Filling Out Interactive Forms

Next, after you've finished filling out your form, print your desired numbered of copies. Finally, cut papers in half vertically and clip together with a binder clip.

You may consider taking it a step further by sending your document to a local office supply store or printing shop. They can print your class list on colored paper so it will stand out from daily student work and create tear-off pads with a cardboard back. I did this myself and LOVE it.

I've created two different editable class checklists for you - a list that allows up to 30 student names and a list that allows up to 25 student names. The forms have two columns for each student - one column for an assignment completion check mark and another column for you to write their grades by points or percentage.

How to use the Class Checklist in your classroom:

•Problem: Need to grade and return an assignment quickly, but don’t have time to record it in your electronic grade book

•Solution: Use a Class Checklist to record student progress and enter grades later when it’s more convenient for you

•Problem: Need to make sure all of your students turned in their assignment

•Solution: Have students check off their names on a Class Checklist

•Problem: A parent volunteer needs to work with every student in your class

•Solution: Give them a Class Checklist to track their progress

•Problem: The Parent Teacher Organization needs an alphabetical list of students in your class

•Solution: Hand them a Class Checklist

I hope that you'll join me in Adding Some Sparkle to your classroom this year. I'd love to hear about how you're using my Class Checklist in your classroom. It will make my day sparkle to hear from you. Connect with me via Instagram at AddSomeSparkle88.

I’m very happy with this resource and how well it supports my third grade students. The activities are engaging, easy to follow, and align nicely with grade-level standards. I especially appreciate how the material is organized and ready to use, which saves me a lot of prep time. My students were motivated and actively participated while using it, and I could easily differentiate to meet a range of learning needs. This has been a valuable addition to my classroom, and I would definitely recommend it to other teachers!

I have multiple checklists for different functions in my classroom, but I love this this one for If I have to sub for other special education teachers. This helps keep me organized with students on what they completed and did not complete.
