We all want to make a good first impression, right? Especially if we want students to see that we are "fun", "chill", or "fire"?

What kind of first impression is your current syllabus format making on your students?

Nolan's kNick-kNacks plans to break the monotony by giving you a syllabus that is interesting to look at as it is to read. A visually-pleasing paper with student-friendly and/or humorous explanations will generate more excitement for your class, especially if you teach a class that makes most students groan with dread.

This syllabus is:

• best for classes/courses that don't have a ton of up-front information to communicate
• called the Basic Version because it communicates a small amount of information as interestingly and concisely as possible
• on a Google Slides document, so you can edit every section to fit whatever class you would like to use it for (AND easily move/resize the images and text boxes as needed)
