Description

These visual direction cards are perfect for giving students concrete reminders of directions during various activities. The visual directions show both the direction and a picture of the tool that students will need to complete that step. The cards are editable and can be modified to best meet your needs. Print the cards on cardstock or print and laminate. Then, display the cards in your classroom after you give students directions. In my classroom, I give the directions, model the directions, and then display the directions using the cards. If students forget what to do next, they are able to reference the visual direction cards.

The cards come with numbers 1 - 8 ready to print as well as more editable cards if you need to add more numbers. The cards also include the directions: write (pencil, marker, and crayon versions), name, cut, color (crayon and marker versions), paint, glue (liquid glue and glue stick versions), draw, sort, count, stop, read, and turn in. Editable versions of these cards are also available so that you can edit the directions that go with each picture or add in your own clipart.
