Buildable and testable engineering design solutions are the basis for any good engineering project or engineering fair. This activity allows for practice of important engineering process skills and higher order thinking.

This assignment is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards. MYP and other International Engineering Standards.

Students worked in groups of 3 to complete this lab activity. They had top collaborate and use materials they were given and selected to use to design the egg protector - then we tested it out as a class ( each team's) then if they were successful they recorded it and if the egg broke they went back and discussed what they could change that they think may have helped protect their egg.
