Posters/Anchor Charts

The step-by-step posters guide students through the process of calculating elapsed time. They break down five different types of elapsed time questions, making it easy for students to follow along. They include how-to instructions for:

  • Starting on the hour and ending on an odd time
  • Starting on an odd time and ending on the hour
  • Starting and ending on an odd time
  • Ending time when given the starting time and duration
  • Starting time when given the duration and ending time

With five different types of elapsed time questions covered, your students will be well-prepared for any problem they encounter.

Elapsed Time Number Line Rulers

The included rulers are a valuable tool for visual learners. They show the hours with both analog clocks and in written form. Markings for half and quarter hours are in red and green.

The rulers are provided in two sizes, so you can choose the best fit for your group or individual students.
