Do you need a no prep lesson and independent work activity for practicing telling time, elapsed time, and equivalent periods of time?

This bundle includes an Equivalent Time and Elapsed Time Lesson Slides, Guided Notes, and Worksheet that will help solidify your students understanding of these math concepts! The lesson works through a math mystery story on Lela, a missing dog! Students will work through 10 time math problems as they also practice their problem solving to solve the mystery! The elapsed time problems are asked in a one hour increment. Students can follow along answering questions on their guided notes page. Answers are included at the end!

The worksheet includes two pages of 10 questions of word problems for practicing elapsed time with whole hour increments. On some questions, students will draw hands on a clock that depicts at time between a given time period.

The lesson slides are available in pdf, powerpoint, and google slides formats. The worksheets are pdfs.

This activity is a great addition for end of the year test review or reviewing elapsed time or equivalent time. It will reinforce or introduce vocabulary and concepts related to elapsed and equivalent time periods. It is specifically tailored to 3rd Grade Virginia Standards, but would fit into any Time/Measurement Unit.
