Description

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of whole number place value concepts using voter turnout information from national elections. Voter turnout data from all fifty states is included, and whole number practice ranges from the hundred thousands into the ten millions place.

With this product, students will demonstrate place value knowledge with the voter turnout number for the state on the practice sheet. Each practice sheet represents a different state, making a total of 50 different pages!

With each state's voter data, students will write the value in word form, expanded form, round (up to the millions place), demonstrate knowledge of place value relationships (ten times the value, one tenth the value), ordering whole numbers using a number line, and comparing whole number values using comparison symbols (<, >, or =).

Students should have prior knowledge of place value concepts (word form, expanded form, rounding to the millions place, place value relationships, ordering, and comparing) before using this product. This product is intended to be an opportunity to practice pre-taught skills.

An answer key for each individual page is included.
