Need a more engaging way for students to learn about the candidates running for election? This product was created for the U.S. Presidential Election but is generic enough to be used in any American election with slight modifications.

This product contains a 20 page Slideshow asking students to complete different requirements on each page. Major political party candidates are focused on here but minor party and independent party candidates are mentioned on two slides.

Students are asked to locate political cartoons, articles, advertisements, quotes, and polls to complete the notebooks. They are also asked to write summary paragraphs and reflect on what completing this notebook taught them.

This product also includes an editable grading checklist with suggested point values to help you assess the completion of the notebook.
