Electromagnetic Spectrum - Intro Activity & Handout for Interactive Notebooks
Share

Description

I give my students the strip of EM waves as a quick pre-assessment to see if they can put them in order. Once they put them in order, we glue them into our interactive notebook.

I give my students a copy of the mnemonic when learning about the electromagnetic spectrum. It helps them to remember the types of waves in the EM spectrum in order, in addition to being a good visual to help remember the colors of the visible spectrum.

I put multiple per page to minimize paper consumption.

This was a wonderful resource and a great addition to my classroom! It was well-organized, easy to implement, and kept my students engaged throughout the lesson. The directions were clear, and the materials aligned well with my instructional goals. I appreciated the time it saved me in planning while still providing meaningful learning opportunities for my students. I will definitely be using this resource again and look forward to exploring more resources from this creator. Highly recommend!
