I liked this activity and it was at a great level to introduce the concept to my 9th graders. My only criticism was that the font for the powerpoint is difficult to read for some students. They said it looks to jumbled. Perhaps include a second version in a bolder sans serif font.

This is a nice lesson, but I did not feel like it was enough to teach students how to do electron configuration. That being said, I also did not notice that it only went up to 9th grade. Nice lesson if they don’t need to know how to complete electron configuration.
