Electron configuration can be very confusing, this assignment helps students first think about electrons in various orbitals. After students are comfortable practicing the "map" of electron diagrams then that is transferred to the "address" of electron configurations. This practice assignment includes the s, p, and d orbitals only (no f).

Great resource!
This resource helped me make sure my kids understood electron configuration buy slowly adding to the steps and concepts one-at-a-time. The only issue I had with the resource was that the 2nd and 3rd pages were the same. It was a little strange. Anyway, I am glad I bought it and hope to use it in the future!
