Description
Do you need a small group manipulative for Elements and using the periodic table? Look no further than this resource. You can print, laminate, separate, and use for years! Using the GA Milestones Periodic Table as a reference, I created matching cards for students to correctly identify the element using the Atomic number and Atomic Mass for correct Identification. The first cards contain the number of Proton, neutron, and/or electron numbers and the students have to match them to the correct Element Periodic Table square. THATS NOT ALL: As an added challenge the students could match the correct group and period locations of the element(s) from card 3. There are 20 cards to match that contain P, N, E numbers. There are 60 cards in all and are already on the answer keys before you cut! If you don't have time for use as a small group manipulative it could easily be converted into a review scavenger hunt just by using the 20 original cards for the early finishers! I hope you enjoy!
