Word walls provide a visual reference to students--the words related to the concepts they are learning are always in front of them! This file includes teacher assembly directions, suggestions for use, activity ideas, frequently asked questions (related to the use of math word walls), word wall titles, math standards labels, and TONS of math word wall cards!
*I tried to include words for all levels of elementary math. Therefore, this file contains a fairly comprehensive amount of words compared to most math word wall resources you will find. I think this is great because MOST of the words are used throughout multiple grade levels and so they are useful to have on-hand! However, you do not have to use ALL of the cards. If any of them do not apply to your particular group of students--just discard that particular card. :)
*Could also be used as flashcards, vocabulary cards, journal handouts, etc.
*Cards include abbreviations, brief definitions, pictures, etc.

I had looked at a lot of math word wall products before I purchased this product. I chose it because the pictures are great for my ELLs. When I got it I am disappointed. The names of the months and days of the week begin with lower case letters. Capitalizing names is something that we work hard on. I'm going to have to do a bunch of fixing (probably by printing out upper case letters individually on the computer and gluing them on to the cards) to be able to use it. This is a very expensive product. It is disappointing to pay this much and then to have to do a lot of work to be able to use it.
This is a huge bundle! The cards are colorful and English Language Learner friendly. A few of the examples pictured are not very common core/conceptually friendly, but they are great for a ready made pack.
