Description

This is a final project for Elementary Statistics. Students are required to come up with their own research question, collect data, and analyze it.

Topics include:

  • Data collection
  • Study design
  • Interpretation of possible bias
  • Measures of center and spread
  • Histograms and Box Plots
  • Confidence intervals
  • Hypothesis Testing
  • Probability
  • Summarization

This is a Word Document and 100% editable!

I did not teach my students about the t-distribution because it is optional for my course, so this project includes using AI for the students to come up with a reasonable population standard deviation to use. Since this document is editable, you can change that if your students know how to work off of a sample standard deviation.
