I find that the best way to keep parents on your side as an educator is to keep them informed of what is happening in your class. Most teachers have too many students to call or write each parent, but email is a good solution in today's technologically savvy world. Pass out this form to students at the beginning of the year, or to parents on Open House night and create a listserv to keep in touch.
