Description

In this activity students will practice solving linear equations with multiple steps.

Just working problems from a simple worksheet becomes redundant for students. Also, so much time is spent the next class period checking the sheets for accuracy. In this activity solutions from one problem must be substituted into the emoji face in the next problem before it can be worked. The answer to the series of problems is provided at the bottom. This will allow students to check their answers. It would be near impossible to come up with this right answer without getting the previous answers correct. A "halfway hint" QR code can also be used if you wish to allow students to check their answers at that point. This will cut down on the number of questions concerning homework answers the next class period.
