We have been working through this packet a little bit during each group lesson. It seems the students are grasping the concept of note-reading better than in past years. They enjoy the novelty of the assessment-type pages (like "note crusher"). This also gives me another way to assess them. The more advanced students love the rabbit lines and extra challenges. The packet provides something for everyone and supports their progress. I absolutely plan to continue using it next year!

My 6th and 7th grade students have been struggling with note reading. Since it's still a bit too early to start working on our spring music, I decided to give this a try, and I'm so glad I did! It's been a great resource for my students! There are many different pages to pick and choose what works best for your class, the checks at the end of the page allow students to reflect on how they're feeling, I can see how they are feeling, and I can see it already building their confidence with note reading. I highly suggest this if you are need of a great note reading resource for your students!
