This digital file contains an assessment and answer key for topic 12. There is enough room for students to show their work for each problem and the assessment should only take one class period.
Quick Checks/Exit Tickets
This digital download includes one 3-question printable worksheet for every lesson in Topic 12 (Convert Measurement).

These quick checks are just 3 problems that cover the most important information from the lesson. I call them quick checks in my classroom but they are used exactly like an Exit Ticket.
I usually have my students do the Quick Check/Exit Ticket before moving to centers. Because it's only 3 problems, I can quickly assess who needs to come to a small group re-teach lesson during center time.

This set of posters contains one poster for each lesson in Topic 12 of the Envision 5th Grade math curriculum resource.
Each lesson poster contains a mathematical "I can" statement, and a language, "I can statement".
During the Solve and Share portion of the lesson, I walk around and let students know I am looking for words I hear them say in their discussions that are from our math and/or language goal for the day.
