What's Inside This Essential Phonics Bundle? You'll receive three comprehensive encoding sets:
- CVC Word Encoding Activities: Focused practice for early readers.
- CVCE Word Encoding Practice: Helps students understand silent 'e' patterns.
- Digraphs Encoding Worksheets & Activities: Builds skills for common letter combinations.
Each set includes interactive PowerPoint presentations (also available as PDFs) with generally 12 words and 4 exercises, though content varies slightly to keep things fresh. Printable recording sheets are also included for easy assessment and student accountability.
How does it work?
- Hand out whiteboards or use the recording sheets.
- Open the PowerPoint and project it in Slideshow mode.
- Show students a picture.
- Give students time to encode the word.
- Click to the “Check it” slide so students can see the letters magically appear in each sound box.
- After completing 3 words, students will stand and complete an exercise.
- You decide how long you want them to move! The exercises are not animated. You are in control!
- After moving briefly, have them sit down and move to the next section.
- You control everything by clicking. (It does not run automatically.)
