Description
A science notebook should be a record of what students learn throughout the year. Real scientists keep a journal of their findings and discoveries so that they can share what they have learned with others. A science student should mimic the role of a professional scientist. I have found over the years that the more creative and unique the journal, the more enthusiastic the students are about learning and the more they appreciate their science notebook.
In this notebook you will find the following:
*“I can” statements that accompany each 5th grade benchmark for “Energy”.
*Thinking Maps and other activities to use with your students in their interactive notebook.
*Key vocabulary foldables that accompany teaching your students about the “Energy”.
You will need to provide your students with colored pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, and glue.
I hope you are satisfied with this product. I especially hope you enjoy teaching science as much as I have over the past 10 years.
Have fun and happy journaling!
