"This classroom resource is well-made. It’s easy to use, and works well across a variety of grade levels. My students really had to think and apply what they have learned to real life scenarios"

Description

Students will use their knowledge of extreme weather (tornado, blizzard, flood, or hurricane) and apply it to design and engineer a structure that could withstand a given condition per request of a famous celebrity.

Additional supplies are required for building houses. I suggest providing students will a variety of materials to choose from: cardboard, tin foil, plastic wrap, paper, tape, glue, etc.. Let them for creative!

I love this idea. There are some typos throughout the document and that's the only downside.

Students enjoyed it! Might be nice if you added the option to edit the celebrity choices and/or update them.
