To play, you'll need a six-sided die and the Equation Rumble worksheet. With a minimum of three players, the youngest player will start the game by rolling the die three times. The values obtained from the rolls correspond to the constants a, b, and c in the equation +=, with x being the variable. Players must decide the signs (positive or negative) of the three numbers and substitute them into the equation. The player must then solve the equation to find the value of x.

Each player takes turns rolling the die and solving equations, keeping track of their total x values on the worksheet. The first player to reach a total of x values equal to 15 wins the game, or a player can win if all other players have a sum greater than 15. Be careful not to exceed a total of 15 x values, or you'll be out of the game!
