Use this fun and exciting activity to help reinforce the concept of equivalent fractions. This resource includes 16 Interactive Google Slides that uses a variety of different models and activities to challenge and engage your students while practicing equivalent fractions. Also included, are 4 different worksheets that are perfect for morning work, centers, homework or even as an assessment. There is no prep necessary- just assign and print!
Important:
In order to utilize the interactive assignment, please make sure you have internet access as well as a Google Account (FREE). Each student will need their own Google Account if they are working on this assignment independently.
This Google Slide activity and worksheets were created to help students:
- understand how a fraction model represents a fraction.
- use models to demonstrate that two fractions are equivalent.
- represent equivalent fractions using models.
- multiply and divide to find equivalent fractions.
What's included:
- 16 interactive slides based on equivalent fractions. Each slide contains a different activity with directions explained.
- an answer key is provided for each slide. Once finished, students can check their work independently or the teacher can display and review each slide with their class.
- 4 different worksheets containing different questions based on equivalent fractions.
Google Slides include:
- rectangular, circular and square models
- missing numerators and denominators
- finding more than one equivalent fraction
- true and false questions
Your students will love working with these easy-to-use Google slides which will reinforce the concept of equivalent fractions. There is no prep necessary! Simply assign the resource to each student and use the print-and-go worksheets for additional assessments.
