Description

Errorless learning is a method of instruction in which the learner always responds correctly. This is an easy way to build independence, learn new skills, and increase confidence when responding. Additionally, errorless tasks are a great way to reduce over prompting and prompt dependency, since there is no wrong answer.

This resource contains 32 (11 x 8.5 inch) pages of ERRORLESS money identification tasks. That means all the correct pieces are given to the student, and their job is to move the pieces from the holding area to the corresponding area on the page.

Topics Include:

•Putting money in a piggy bank/wallet

•Matching the value of coins and bills

•Matching the names of coins and bills

•Matching the front and backs of coins and bills

I have made these into file folder activities for myself students. I teach special education so these are especially helpful to provide student repetition and a resource that they can use independently. I track students growth and move them along to the next skills accordingly. This is especially helpful in IEP goal progress monitoring. For students who may need extra practice, I print off pages as a handout and include it in their weekly homework packet. Since it is something they have already been introduced to in class, parents are able to provide minimal support at home.

I printed this resources out and made it into a work book. This activity was a great way to introduce money and as a supplement for other activity's. I liked that you are given real money pictures as well as clip art to help students generalize. Very fun and engaging!
