TechinBloom Escape Room Test

Want a fun, engaging activity for your students to do before Spring Break? In this Escape to Spring Break Digital Escape Room Challenge, your students will follow directions, use logic, deductive reasoning, observation skills, cardinal directions and some math.

The story: It's the last day of school before Spring Break begins. You and your friends are so excited and can't wait for the dismissal bell to ring! Forty-five minutes before the bell, the principal comes over the intercom and announces that the whole school is on lockdown and no one will be able to leave! All the doors are locked and he has forgotten all the override access codes. The good news is that he has left CLUES around the school, but the clues need to be decoded. He needs your help! Will you and your friends be able to find and decode all the clues that will unlock all the school doors and escape to Spring Break before the dismissal bell rings?

What are some advantages of using a digital escape challenge?

•NO preparation is necessary! All you have to do is share the link to the Google Site with your students! It can be shared on Google Classroom or any other type of LMS your school might use, like Canvas, but NOT shared on COMMONS.

•Students will collaborate to solve puzzles, cyphers and clues to open each lock.

•This challenge can be completed on Chromebooks, IPads or computers.

•This challenge can be completed individually, in small groups or whole group

•This challenge should take between 30-45 minutes to complete if working in pairs or groups. Please note it may take up to 60 minutes depending on your students' ability levels and groupings.
