Description
This set of 6th grade math binder notes provides an organized set of notes and practice problems for estimating to find the percent of a number. Students will complete an organized list of unit fraction and other common fraction equivalents and their corresponding percentage. Students will learn that rounding and using compatible numbers can be used to estimate the percent of a number. There are 8 straight forward skills practice problems and four additional word problems.
These notes work great during guided instruction, small groups, reteaching, or review before an assessment.
