Description
- A page of notes, large font for classroom viewing/presentation.
- A 'blank page' of the same notes, with portions whited-out so students can fill in the blanks during lecture/presentation.
- A worksheet (See "View Preview") corresponding with these notes, with answer key included.
**NOTE: Students during this topic are not expected to estimate / approximate the square root to anything beyond between the two integers where its square root (decimal) is located. For example, if asked "Estimate / Approximate the square root of 6", the appropriate final answer for this topic would be "A decimal between 2 and 3".
*Note: This topic also introduces the idea of "Perfect Squares" to students. A basic level of understanding of this will be needed in order to ensure success.
*I have been a teacher now for over a collective 20 years, 15+ of those teaching each mathematical level in Pennsylvania schools ranging from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus. All of my submissions have been used for my classes for multiple years to great success.
