This concise, to the point and no-prep estimating real numbers lesson is a great way to teach & introduce how to estimate real numbers on a number line. There are nine examples where students practice rounding real numbers to the nearest hundredth and place the number on a number line. Students and teachers love how easy these notes are to follow and understand.

These notes get straight to the point of the skill being taught, which I have found is imperative for the attention span of middle schoolers! They are also a great tool for students to refer back to.
