How I use it.... I put the application problem in the "classwork" section and allow students to use the space in the box to work out the problem. Students can get up to 20 points ( you can use that to help grade how they are doing in class). The fluency section I use to do assessments or just have them write down skip counting or other fluency items that can be written. Students can give themselves participation points as a "reward" for participating. The "How I did today" section is a self reflect both from teacher and student. I use Class Dojo so how many points they gain on that section is how many dojo points they can earn a day.
I make copies for parents to keep in touch but I hold onto the originals for filing purposes.
