Description

This January Calendar reviews content from Engage NY 4th Grade Module 4. All answers are included and it is in Word Format so you can edit as needed.

***A complete 2017/2018 Calendar Bundle is available in my store. It includes other helpful resources as well to make Math Homework a Breeze!!

***This would also be a great extension for gifted 3rd grade students or to cover gap areas for struggling 5th grade students.

***I created the homework calendars to use instead or as supplement to the Engage NY Math Modules. The problems come straight from the Engage Curriculum so students are still getting the necessary practice using the rigor and steps required by the CCSS and Engage.

***I love Engage NY but I struggle with giving students the homework for a topic just learned. I also have problems with students losing homework pages and packets. To fix all of these issues I created a calendar that reviews content learned in an easy to use and manageable way. I feel homework is a necessary piece towards student confidence however I do not want it to be a family burden.

***For more information on how I use Engage in my classroom and the other homework requirements I list in the calendar please see me blog - http://ahhteaching.blogspot.com/

***If you are not sure this is what you want, you can download a FREE October calendar as a PDF from my store. You can also get a FREE Show Your Work page to give to students with the calendar to organize their work.

Find all factor pairs for a whole number in the range 1-100. Recognize that a whole number is a multiple of each of its factors. Determine whether a given whole number in the range 1-100 is a multiple of a given one-digit number. Determine whether a given whole number in the range 1-100 is prime or composite.
Generate a number or shape pattern that follows a given rule. Identify apparent features of the pattern that were not explicit in the rule itself. For example, given the rule “Add 3” and the starting number 1, generate terms in the resulting sequence and observe that the terms appear to alternate between odd and even numbers. Explain informally why the numbers will continue to alternate in this way.
