You can use this product to provide extra practice or review the skills just taught in the lessons. Topic C - Lessons 7-9 focus on partitioning shapes and identifying halves, equal parts, quarters, and fourths. This product contains 16 slides for students to work on.

Use this in a center, one to one, or whole group! Slides can be printed and laminated to use as task cards. Eureka Math is aligned with Common Core.

Directions: Display on projector and play or play on tablet or computer/laptop. Students will type how many equal parts a shape has. Sort shapes into equal or unequal shapes, as well as halves and fourths. Partition shapes into halves and fourths by dragging the line. Drag the circles on shapes that are halves or fourths and match the word to the correct shape.

Describe the whole as two of, or four of the shares. Understand for these examples that decomposing into more equal shares creates smaller shares.
