Your students will master EVEN and ODD numbers in no time with this fun and low-prep math craft!
Included are 16 printable number card pages along with 1 page of step-by-step directions. Create an accordion-style "book" with even numbers, odd numbers, or both! Simply cut out the cards and glue/tape onto a 4 x 18 inch strip of construction paper (folded into eighths).
If doing both even and odd numbers, save on space by placing even cards on one side and odd cards on the other. To extend counts, simply tape or staple additional strips. Included in the set are numbers to 100 (even) and 101 (odd)!
Complete this activity individually (each student makes a book) or assign the various pages to teams of students. As teams finish, piece the strips together to make the final product.
This activity can be differentiated for a variety of ages and skill levels. Be sure to keep the "books" in a handy spot for students to reference and recite!
