This is a cloze activity to go along with the Grade 6 Everyday Math Unit 1. At the end of each lesson, students complete the cloze notes to review key concepts and vocabulary. This activity can be completed independently, or with a partner/table group to facilitate discussion/deeper understanding. A completed set of notes is also included. The Unit Test Study Guide lists the skills, vocabulary, and methods of study for students to use, as well as a place for them to record their study plan. Parents sign this study guide when I announce the test date (usually 4 school days in advance). This is part of the complete Unit 1 Notes and Key that are in my store. The complete set has completed notes to use for students with writing disabilities or to project for students to check their work. All Units are available in my store, Jansen Jazz.
