This assignment was originally developed to provide an opportunity for college-level psychology students to earn extra credit by learning more about evolution. It provides several options, including researching and examining the students' own misconceptions about the theory.

It can be easily modified for high school students and other fields of study.

As with most of my assignments, it takes a critical thinking approach and promotes understanding of the scientific process and healthy scientific skepticism.
