Description

This interactive activity works on selective attention which involves the ability to attend to only important stimuli and tune out unimportant stimuli. This activity is working on attention and focus more than the higher level tasks involved in executive functioning such as planning or problem solving. If Executive Functioning is the "conductor" in the orchestra, this task involving selective attention is one of the instruments in the orchestra. This activity is good for students who have problems initiating activities and are sluggish/slow to react/drowsy. You are buying a google slide (24 slides) involving dragging of objects into a box. If you are unfamiliar with google slides, all you need to have is a google docs account and you are able to share these slides with your students (sharing screen works great with teletherapy or telehealth). These google slides are for single therapist or single teacher use.
