Description

Exit tickets (Formative Assessment) provide a great instant feedback while teaching any concept. If you use data driven instruction, these exit tickets will allow you to collect such data and execute a plan of action based on the results. White utilizing these tickets, teachers will be able to conduct a quick check of student understanding of concepts taught in class and adjust the pace accordingly. I personally ask my students to fill out the tickets and hand them in as they're leaving the classroom.

In this file, there are 4 exit tickets to aid in assessing the understanding of:

ARITHMETIC SEQUENCES
FINDING EXPLICIT & RECURSIVE FORMULA

These exit tickets also include the Common Core Standard pertaining to the topic being assessed. An answer key is provided in this file as well.

p.s. Check out the "BUNDLE ARITHMETIC & GEOMETRIC SEQUENCES". Don't miss it!!!

Recognize that sequences are functions, sometimes defined recursively, whose domain is a subset of the integers. For example, the Fibonacci sequence is defined recursively by 𝘧(0) = 𝘧(1) = 1, 𝘧(𝘯+1) = 𝘧(𝘯) + 𝘧(𝘯-1) for 𝘯 greater than or equal to 1.
