3 Digit Expanded Form
Want to add a little fun into learning about expanded form? Then this WAR game is just what your kiddos need.
Really like the war games? Take a look at this bundle of 20 games for a special low price. WAR MATH GAMES BUNDLE SET 1
This game can be played with 2 to 4 players.
Directions:
1. Deal out all of the cards face down to players. Place them in a stack.
2. Each player turns over their top card.
3. The player with the largest answer (or number) wins and keeps those cards.
4. If the player turns over cards that are equivalent, then it’s WAR time. Those players turn over their next card. The player who has the highest answer gets ALL of the cards.
5. The person with the most cards at the end is the winner.
You can change it up to the greater value or the lesser value. Just determine the rule before the start of the game.
*NOTE: I have included answers for each problem. These are good to mix in the war game. You can also put these at a center and do a matching game or play as a concentration game.
**Please check back as I will be adding quite a few more "WAR" math games.

3 Digit Expanded Form
Met expectations
Great value
Bought many of these a few years ago - still wish they were not numbered/lettered in order, would prefer to use as a matching activity. Used in small group.
Great resource to use for place value! Students will be engaged with this.
My kids love war so this was a great option for them!
Thank you. Great resource
Great resource!
Used this as a center while I taught small group. The students enjoyed it and were able to do well with the review.
I bought one of the War games as a challenge for my higher students and then saw you have all different kinds. My kids love it! Thank you!
